My life is in your hands

Hello friends and family!

24 hours of traveling later (you guys would be proud, I sat in the middle seat, between two strangers on the way to tokyo, for 15 hours and only got up 4 times to pee… impressive? I know) we made it to Bangkok and 12 more hours to go and we'll be Phuket, our final destination. We're taking a 12 hour bus ride through the night tonight, so we'll arrive in Phuket early tomorrow morning.

A lot has gone on the past week and a half: sleeping on tarps, worshipping, dancing, laughing, crying, traveling, jet lag, eating amazing thai food… but I feel like Gods sovereign hand/control has been so evident in everything I do and see.

1. We've been able to witness two beautiful thunderstorms while in Thailand. The first one was the night we flew into Bangkok, it wasn't raining but the thunder and lightning was absolutely breath taking. And Last night I was able to sit outside under a porch and just listen to the rain fall while appreciating a good book.  For some reason it took being halfway across the world for me to really appreciate a thunderstorm, both nights I was speechless just   thinking about  the powerful, majestic God behind the storm. Isaiah 6:3 "Holy, Holy, Holy,  is the Lord of hosts,         the whole earth is full of His glory"

2. Our team is another amazing example of the Lords sovereign hand. it is so weird how I have known these girls for only a week. BUT I feel like I've known them for so much longer than that. We have an amazing community that could only come from God. We all come from different backgrounds, experiences, heartbreaks, but are brought together with a common bond-a love for the lord and a heart for the women in the sex trafficking industry. God has hand picked every single one of us for this trip, for this summer, for this community. We've had some pretty incredible things spoken over our team, I can't wait to see what God has in store.

3. It is overwhelming thinking about what we are about to step into in Phuket, there is so much darkness there.. BUT instead of letting the devils voice of fears and anxieties get to me, I hold fast to the fact that the Lord says, "where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom" 2 Cor 3:17. I trust the Lord that he has specifically hand picked each one of  us for the ministry in Phuket, and that as believers in the Living God we have the Spirit of Christ inside of us and we are brining that Spirit to the women of Phuket to bring freedom.

P.S. : Random facts you guys should enjoy:
1. This morning we went to the market in Bangkok- kinda like a farmers market thai style- and we decided to get these delicious looking donut hole things with powdered sugar on top but when I bit into one I was surprised to find some sort of garlic/ginger thing in the middle. Thai breakfasts are interesting.
2. I'm about to go get some legit Pad Thai from a street cart down the road for lunch- be jealous.

Thank you so much for everyone who is praying for me, you have no idea how much that means to me. I love you all SOO much. I will try my best to get on again in the next week and update you guys on the happenings.
