So below is something that God really laid on my heart today to share about what my team and myself have been going through and feel like we are up against and how God is just claiming victory over it all. We are in a battle of spiritual warfare but it's God's battle and he is fighting for us and through us.
An army has arose
Clothed in the royalty of the King-
They march forwards toward their foe
The Valley of Darkness before them-
But their hearts overflow with His light
A single prayer from their souls they bring-
For eyes opened to the lost and broken
For spirits lit in passion for the King
In each knight His life is spoken
Moving as one body towards the fight
With shields bore and swords up high-
Steps of confidence are taken
Their voices echo into the darkness their battle-cry
The evil spirits in the enemy they awaken
Spiritual warfare is now on the rise
The evil one throws all that he can
Reaching back into a forgotten past-
Bringing back the pain of before is all in his battle plan
Lies in our minds he uses to harass
Flaming attacks come from all sides
The people on the streets are his toy-
His evil employed in eyes of a man
Through lust he plans to destroy
The thoughts of satisfaction their poison
Their hearts empty and searching for what only God can give
He reigns in the brokenness of a woman’s disgrace
Disconnection on the poles
Their eyes are lost in a darkness they can’t face
The desire for love weighs on their souls
The truth of their Father satan will not live
This darkness revealed to the white knights
Their hearts cry out in desperation-
For another friend is pulled into the night
In the degrading of this lost nation-
Falls another tear of a broken knight of the King
But a voice calls out amidst the pain-
I understand your brokenness, I see it all
I understand your pain, but through it I’ll reign
The battle I have already won- the enemy will fall
For my glory, highest victory will ring
2 Chronicles 20:15b "This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's."
John 10:10 "The theif comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
