In case you were wondering: God is alive! The Holy Spirit is alive! Christ is alive! AND He is living in YOU.
Do you get that? Christ is inside of you.
When God looks at you He sees his Son. He sees the one whom He looked down upon and declared, "You are my beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with you."
Absorb that for a minute.
This is what God has reminded me of at training camp. It is Christ living in me. My old, wretched, sinful self died with Christ and He has freed me. He has stripped off my old nature and clothed me with a brand new nature that is continually being renewed as I learn more about Christ. My identity is in Christ alone which means that I cannot say or do anything to change what He thinks about me or how much He loves me. Nothing. Living in this truth is absolutely freeing.
I praise God that I am His beloved.
I praise God that I have been renewed.
I am going to Thailand so that women stuck in prostitution will know they too are dearly loved and can live in the freedom of a new identity.
