how can you not see him!

Just to update everyone, we will not be starting bar ministry until next week so for the time being we are getting spiritually prepared, prayer walking, and intercession worship for the world race team that is staying with us at the time.  Phuket is so beautiful it takes my breath away, the scenery here is amazing! For me nature is how i feel connected to god everyday, whether its a beautiful sunset, a huge storm, rain, a bright sun, rainbow, or the wind. Less than 1 percent of the people here are christians, Most of Thai people practice Buddhism. Their are giant statues of him...

Peace. Be still

My favorite time of day in Phuket is in the morning. There is a cool dewiness in the air, a calmness before the sultry heat of the day takes over. As I stand by the open window a gentle breaze plays on my face, carrying the sounds of the a town stirring and unknown birdsong. Attention Parents and Supporters!

May 2, 2011. Early this morning news broke that US officials announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed late last night in Pakistan. While none of our Real Life teams are in high-threat areas, we have been in contact with them to keep them aware of ongoing events and to be sure they are all safe.

Team Update

Just before noon EST a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit northeastern Burma, on its border with Thailand. There is currently a Real Life team in the Thai city of Chiang Rai about 70 miles from the earthquake site. Real Life staff has been in direct contact with the Real Life team and all participants are safe.  They are still experiencing minor aftershocks, but have found a safe location to stay. We will stay in communication with the team throughout the day and will continue to post updates here if the situation changes.
