The Lion of Judah’s (God) thundering deep
Roaring down the walls of fear in me (giving us grace; forgiving all that is everything bad, everything unholy in my life, every hardship, every sin)
And from deep inside the battle cry (when it gets hard, gets tough)
You Roar (calling us home, Judah still obeys, and is faithful, bringing us out
of the depths and the valleys, calling us home)
WOAH!
Oh Happy Day, Oh Happy, you washed my sin away, oh happy day happy day, I will never be the same
“For someday the people will follow me. I, the Lord, will roar like a lion. And when I roar, my people will return trembling from the west. Like a flock of birds, they will come from Egypt trembling like doves, they will return from Assyria. And I will bring them home again,” says the Lord. Hosea 11:9-12
He gives us grace; grace that I don’t deserve, you don’t deserve. When time gets hard, he will guide you. When all hope is lost, he will restore you. When you want to give up, look to Him. Give every situation, every problem to God, and he will come to your rescue.
I need you Jesus to come to my rescue, where else can I go?
He will make your paths straight.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. “I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes…” Jeremiah 29:11-14
When we pray, He will listen. When we think, He will listen to our thoughts. When you search, He will find you. He calls you by name, and He will come to our rescue.
Nothing we do could ever separate us from God’s love. No matter the sin, no matter the situation, no matter the pain, it won’t separate us from our Father. God loves unconditionally, wholeheartedly. God is love.
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate use from God’s love…” Romans 8:38
