The Neighbors Might Think We have Evil Spirits

Every night before we go out on Bangla Road we worship for an hour. Because we are overseas missionaries and don’t have church, here’s what we can do:
1) Have Kendra play a few songs on the SHE guitar, this never last long so we end up going from her leading to singing a cappella and back again.
2) Have no music and someone (sometimes more than one at a time) starts singing a song and whoever wants to sing that song sings too.
3) Someone puts together a playlist on their computer/ipod and we sing along, the problem with this is the speakers are never loud enough to hear the music, and the SHE portable speakers aren’t good (they give more static and crackling noises than music). So this leads to our last option.
4) Individual playlists on ipods. Everyone has their headphones plugged in, and we each sing at the same time 7 different worship songs for an hour. As terrible we sound, I think it’s our favorite. To anyone who can hear us, I’m sorry; earplugs might be a good investment.
The other night as we were singing individually I wondered what the neighbors were hearing and thinking. I pulled one of my headphones out and just listened, imagining I was someone along the street or in one of the nearby houses. All I could think of was the neighbors must hear foolishness, and think we all have an evil spirit in us.
They are wrong, we’re filled with the Holy Spirit, but they don’t know that, and none of them worship our God so how would they know? Anything that isn’t of Buddha to them is foolishness, especially anything of the Creator.
1 Corinthians 1:18-25
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those  whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
