The Puzzle Piece

What an amazing first week in Phuket. Our team has had extreme highs and ultimate lows, but as always God prevails. After three nights out on Bangla, I'm obviously still just a rookie but a rookie with a stronger passion and a broken heart. Every night that I go out, I constantly ask God to remind me that the men that are out here are just as lost in sin as the women that seduce them.

Sex was made to be something beautiful, a gift from God meant for a husband and his bride. And look what man has turned it into, a money-driven industry meant for instant satisfaction and guiltless pleasure.

I've reminded myself constantly not to judge the men that flood the streets of Bangla road; instead I just remind myself that EVERYONE around me is searching for something.

"There's a hole in my heart that's shaped like You. And it's just big enough to let You through."

I sing this song to myself whenever I begin to look down at a man on Bangla. ALL that they are searching, all the desires that they want are just a hole that's the perfect cut out of my savior.

It seems so simple to those of us who grew up singing Jesus’ name in Sunday school, we know and understand the absolute freedom in that name. And I’ve taken that so for granted. So here I am, across the globe from my safety net, ready to hand people The Piece that completes the puzzle.

His chosen,
Justine
