So often I'm learning that I separate in my mind life and ministry. I wish honestly that I was the only one that struggles with this but I'm guessing that many of you are in this boat with me. Its almost as if in order to encourage someone, tell them about Jesus or pray for them we have to have a big sign flashing "ministry moment". Then after its over we almost pat ourselves on the back and say well done now you can get back to normal life and categorize it as a moment of doing ministry. In reality, everything we do should be ministry. People are around us everyday...

The more time I'm here, the more I am amazed at the God we serve. Monday night was once again one of our prayer nights. My partner and I walk the streets and the beach while lifting up prayers for the ones doing bar ministry….. that they would have boldness, love, and compassion for the men and women they come across. Thursday night will be one that I will never forget. Everything started out like it normally does when we go out for bar ministry…we get ready, we pile into the back of a truck, get driven to Patong, and then pile out onto the streets and make our game plan. Today (Sunday) was our day off. Like so many of our other days off, we decided to go to the beach.
