It’s only been four days since I headed to Georgia, and God is already making me speechless. His love, his beauty, his forgiveness, his grace, his freedom, and his plan for each one of us is something he wants to show us in his own way, own timing. His plan is so much better than our own. It was going to be hard leaving family and friends back at home, but I am already so happy that I have listened to God, and obeyed him to go on this trip. The verse for this trip is:
Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.”
Throughout training camp, God is breaking chains, and giving us freedom. Each battle we face, he is fighting for us. Nothing can hold us down; we only need to surrender fully to him. Learning to surrender every aspect in my life, is a scary thing. Telling him he has complete control, he has the steering wheel and is guiding me to where he wants me. It’s coming to him with hands open, ready for him to do what he wants in our life.
The Lion of Judah’s thundering deep
Roaring down the walls of fear in me
And from deep inside the battle cry
You roar
WOAH!
God has marvelous plans for this trip as we head to Thailand tomorrow; he is ready to change each one of our lives, as well as anyone we come in contact with. We will be the light coming into the dark proclaiming freedom into their lives.
