The past few weeks have been crazy, with stuff going on at home and God pushing me in ways he has never pushed me. I was beginning to feel discouraged, but God showed up big time in the past few days. First was through a 12 year old girl, Cola “like Coca-Cola”, My Bangla group (Austen, Mrriah, Alexa, and I) were praying when we look up and see a child, arm full of flowers, and all she says is Jesus, in Thai, she then explains how God told her to come talk to us, and that she saw him in the middle of our prayer circle, and then points to her hands and feet where his scars are. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! This little girl, in a country full of Buddhist, keep in mind “to be Thai is to be Buddhist”, just told us she saw JESUS in the middle of us! We offer to buy her a crape and she says that she won’t take it because Buddha takes things, but Jesus doesn’t. All I was thinking was “WOAH! Did that 12 year old little girl just say that?!” Our group was so pumped after that, that nothing could touch us. Satan could get close but he wasn’t going to touch us that night!

Today, I got the amazing opportunity to go out with Austen and *Jill (named changed) a beautiful young lady I have met and gotten close to from one of the bars. Our day consisted of a motorbike ride, feeding monkeys, REAL Thai food, and the market. Not only did I have a lot of fun, I got to love on and be loved on by her. We also had really awesome, promising conversations, hopefully (praying like crazy) we can get her out of that place!
Today was so encouraging, I am so thankful for a God who loves, and hears our prayers.
