Happy Valentine's Day from Thailand! With all of this love in the air, I thought I would share some of ours. To say friendship came easily tfor our team would be an understatement. Comfort and closeness were immediate after meeting each other on the first day of training camp (nearly four weeks ago)! We enjoy getting to know each other more each day and I hope as you learn more about us you will grow to love our team as much as I do! God has blessed each of us with eight new friendships and I look forward to serving next to these women for the next few months and continuing our friendships...

  All anyone could say about my upcoming trip to Thailand was that it was going to be a "life changing experience". After hearing that about 100 times, I became numb to not only the words, but also the idea. I knew that I was about to undergo something incredibly new and different, but it was more of a concept rather than reality. After a forty hour travel period, reality soon began to set in. With stomachs stuffed full of airplane food and exhaustion way past setting in, an eleven hour bus ride was not sounding too tempting. However, when a double decker "party" bus...

Family & Friends, We have made it safely to our ministry site 'She' in Phuket! You can expect to hear from your girls within the next few days as we get settled in. Thanks for continuing to cover us in Prayer!

Dear Parents, Family, and Friends, After 60 plus hours of flying, waiting, driving, and waiting we had finally reached Phuket. We were extremely blessed in Bangkok to have been met by members of YWAM  Thailand to take us to the bus station. Out contact from SHE met us at the bus station and all 22 students and 3 leaders have safely made it to SHE with all of our luggage, praise Jesus!  We are looking forward to meeting with Mark, Sharon, and Amanda (our ministry contacts) to see what our ministry day will look like here and we are eager to get started and see what the Lord had in store...

We just got home from Bangla Road and tonight something amazing happened with my friend i wrote about last, Am! I went to see her and she was telling me how much she hated her job… which she hasnt told me ever. When she told me about her job I begged her to just leave with me right then and there but she said she had to finish her night. I promised her a job tomorrow! i said AM if you leave i promise you i can give you a job tomorrow! In the end we decided that tomorrow at 11 a.m. I am going to pick her up in Patong to come back to S.H.E. to talk about having a new job here. Right...
