eucharisteo.

Eucharisteo.
It’s tattooed on my wrist, but I’m only now beginning to realize what it really means.
The word comes from the Greek. It’s the word that Christ spoke as He broke the bread at the last supper. He gave thanks.
This word doesn’t just mean to give thanks for everything all together, but to give thanks for each individual thing we are thankful for. Through our gratitude, the Lord bestows “charis” and “chara” meaning grace and joy.

Eucharisteo is the glue for my soul. It’s all that’s holding me upright through this season.
